The Medichem Prize in Organic Chemistry is an award given to BSc graduates

We would like to congratulate Josielle Abdilla, who is the recipient of the 9th edition of the Medichem Prize in Organic Chemistry (academic year 2022/23)! The Medichem Prize in hashtag#OrganicChemistry is an award given to BSc graduates from the Faculty of Science at the University of Malta, who have done their final dissertation in an organic chemistry-related subject and have excelled in it! The prize was awarded during the Dean of Science awards ceremony held in March.

The Medichem Prize in Organic Chemistry was set up to award and promote studies in organic chemistry, which is the science governing the synthesis and development of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), which is at the core of what we do at Medichem! We are proud to sponsor this award at the Faculty of Science for the 9th consecutive year!
