“My career has shown me that innovation in digital health has a real impact on people’s lives. From Catalonia.health, we will work to strengthen the competitiveness of companies in the sector and to consolidate Catalonia as the leading health hub in southern Europe,” states Eva García Ramos, President of Catalonia.health.
Catalonia.health Board of Directors, renewed
García Ramos will lead a renewed Board of Directors composed of representatives from strategic sectors of the ecosystem: from biopharmaceutical product development and medical technologies to digital health and scientific-technical services. The members of the new executive team are: Jordi Martorell (Aortyx) as First Vice President; the outgoing president, Mariona Serra (GoodGut by Hipra) as Second Vice President; Pau Turón (Grup B. Braun) as Third Vice President and Treasurer; Marta Parente (GP Pharm) as Fourth Vice President; Elisabeth Stampa (Medichem) as Secretary and First Board Member; and Gabriel Capellá (IDIBELL), Jaume Vallet (COMSER), Laura Pellisé (AMGEN), Joël Jean-Mairet (YSIOS Capital), and Jordi Barretina (IGTP), as Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Board Members respectively.
A visible, useful, and reliable association
The strategic lines of the new mandate are articulated around three commitments. To strengthen the visibility of the organization so that it has a presence where decisions affecting the sector are made; usefulness so that each member finds tangible returns in Catalonia.health in the form of opportunities, connections, and influence; and reliability to be recognized as a rigorous and constructive interlocutor. Additionally, the new president will work to promote alliances with various Catalan entities and institutions, and open new fronts of European and international collaboration in digital health, medical technologies, and advanced therapies.
