QM Officer

 We at Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd are EXPANDING our operations and are looking for motivated and capable individuals who would like to join our growing team! 

Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd, and its sister company Medichem Manufacturing (Malta) Ltd, form part of the Medichem group, a Spanish pharmaceutical organisation which develops and manufactures both active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms. 

Combino Pharm is focused on solid oral generic pharmaceutical products while Medichem specialises in active pharmaceutical ingredients. The organization provides high quality medicinal substances and products for the worldwide market, with special emphasis on Europe and the US. 

The two factories are located side-by-side in the Hal Far Industrial Estate, hold EU GMP certification and US FDA approval, and have been operating here in Malta for 20 years. 

As part of our EXPANSION in operations, we are looking for a Quality Management Officer for our Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd. facility who will be responsible for assisting the Company in the maintenance, upkeep, and development of the various activities within the Quality Operations Team by actively participating in the continuous improvement process while ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements. 

QUALITY MANAGEMENT OFFICER 

The Position Requires: 

• Ensuring compliance and adherence to Company policies and procedures, quality standards, H&S regulations as well as relevant US, EU and international GMP requirements for pharmaceutical products for human consumption. 
• Actively participate in the implementation of the quality systems that meet GMP requirements and ensure that these are followed at all times. 
• Supporting the Company’s QPs on the Company’s license for the release of pharmaceutical products on the market. 
• Coordination and execution of required tasks for day-to-day activities supporting operations including mastering and issuing of batch records 
• Active participation in continuous improvement and specific projects assigned by the QM Operations Manager and Head of QM. 
• To take part and support activities aimed at promoting Quality culture within the organisation. 
• Ability to understand and achieve the strategy and implement policies. 
• A University Degree in Pharmacy, Biology or Chemistry. 
• Previous experience in a GMP quality role is considered an asset. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. 
• Computer literacy and good command of MS Office Applications.
